Private funeral service for Craftsman Beau Pridue

A private funeral service will be held for Craftsman Beau Pridue in the greater Newcastle region on Tuesday, 27 September 2011.

Craftsman Pridue died from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident in East Timor on 15 September 2011.

Craftsman Pridue was returned home on Wednesday, 21 September 2011 during a Ramp Ceremony held at RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW.

The family of Craftsman Pridue has requested that media not attend the funeral service.

No imagery of the ceremony will be made available to the media. The family ask that the media understand and respect their need for privacy at this difficult time.

The funeral service will be attended by Craftsman Pridue’s family, friends and Army representatives.
