8 August 2016

Defence will meet with the community of Williamtown this week to provide the most up-to-date information on the outcomes of the Human Health Risk Assessment and the Environmental Site Assessment.

This community engagement is part of the Federal Government’s ongoing commitment to supporting the Williamtown community through the investigation.

The main focus of the meetings this week is to keep the community informed of the outcomes of the Environmental Site Assessment and Human Health Risk Assessment.

Defence will discuss the findings of the Human Health Risk Assessment with the community at the combined meeting of Community Reference Group and Elected Representative Reference Group on Monday, 8 August 2016.

A Community Information Session will be held at 5:30pm-6:30pm, 9 August 2016, at the Multi Purpose Centre, Tomaree High School, Salamander Way, Salamander Bay. This will be an opportunity for the community to ask questions on the outcome of the report.

Defence also will be conducting a Community Walk in Session 12:30pm-6:30pm, 10 August 2016, Salt Ash Community Hall, 1 Mitchell Drive, Salt Ash.
