Defence releases Oakey and Human Health Risk Assessment
1 September 2016Defence will meet with the community of Oakey next week to provide the most up-to-date information on the outcome of the Human Health Risk Assessment.
This community engagement is part of the Federal Government’s ongoing commitment to support Oakey through the investigation.
The main focus of the meetings next week is to keep the community well informed of the outcomes of the Human Health Risk Assessment.
A Community Information Session will be held at 5:30pm-7.00pm, 5 September 2016, at the Oakey Cultural Centre, Corner McDonald and Campbell Streets, Oakey Qld 4401.
Defence will also be conducting two community information walk in sessions on Tuesday 6 September 16 from 10.00am -1.00pm and 3.30-7.00pm at Oakey Cultural Centre, Corner McDonald and Campbell Streets, Oakey Qld 4401.
This will provide the community the opportunity to ask questions and address any concerns regarding the environmental investigations.
There will be specialists at the walk in sessions that will be able to provide expert advice.
