Community meeting on groundwater contamination around RAAF Base Williamtown

Defence, in conjunction with NSW Government agencies, will hold a community information session about groundwater contamination around RAAF Base Williamtown.
 
The information session will be held on Wednesday, 16 September from 6.30pm to 8.00pm at the Stockton RSL, 29 Douglas Street, Stockton.
 
Defence is also finalising the Stage 2 Environmental Report into groundwater contamination, which will shortly be made available on the dedicated RAAF Base Williamtown Stage 2 Environmental Investigation website: www.defence.gov.au/id/Williamtown/Default.asp
 
Defence continues to liaise and engage with relevant Federal, State and Local Government departments and agencies regarding the possible health and agricultural impacts of the groundwater contamination.
