Webinars for career management

Career Management – Army delivers a monthly webinar series, Navigating Your Career, to provide personnel with education, transparency and agency in managing their careers.

The series covers a range of career management topics for full-time personnel and reservists.

Some of the presentations delivered this year have covered performance reporting and writing; understanding the Total Workforce; managing successful transitions; and, recognition of prior learning.

The purpose of the webinars is to demystify career management processes and equip personnel with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions.

Sessions are recorded for those unable to attend live, with recordings, supporting resources and future event information available through the DROCM-A Career Management Professional Group on ForceNet.

The next webinar, on career management boards, is scheduled for November 12 at 1000 (AEDT). Covering eligibility, submission requirements, timelines, board processes and practical tips to improve competitiveness, the session will be an opportunity for personnel considering future career progression.
