Relocation webinars

Personnel posting to a new location can register for a relocation webinar to help them and their families prepare, and settle into their new communities.

Preparing for a posting raises questions, and issues regarding decisions and adjustments, particularly when moving to a regional or remote location.

Defence Member and Family Support (DMFS) is delivering a series of relocation webinars throughout September and October. They will provide practical, location-specific information, including housing and relocation, education and childcare, health and wellbeing support, partner employment opportunities and support, local services and amenities, community connections, lifestyle and recreation opportunities, and DMFS support services. 

Delivered by local DMFS area offices, with support from local command, the webinars will provide insights into life at each posting location and the services, support and opportunities available. Participants will hear from Defence families already living in the communities.
