2026 EDGY Air Force Innovation Awards

Nominations are now open for the 2026 EDGY Air Force Innovation Awards.

The awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of our people across the innovation ecosystem and acknowledge their significant contribution to Defence capability and preparedness – leading innovation from the ground-up.

Award categories include Innovation of the Year, Innovator of the Year, Innovation Capability Sponsor of the Year, Champion of the Year, Ambassador of the Year and EDGY Lab of the Year. 

To submit a nomination for the 2026 EDGY Air Force Innovation Awards, search ‘EDGY’ on the Defence intranet, navigate to the EDGY Vera page, and follow the prompts to complete the nomination form.

Submissions close on October 2, with winners to be recognised at the awards presentation in Glenbrook on November 17.
